This is the roadmap I wish I had after being diagnosed bipolar. In this course you will learn what is normal, what is to be expected after a manic episode. You will also accept that you have been diagnosed bipolar, but your mindset is going to be - I am stronger than my diagnosis ever will be.
A roadmap can offer clarity on what steps to take to manage bipolar disorder effectively and rebuild your life. It can outline strategies for medication management, therapy, lifestyle changes, and support networks. Having a clear direction can reduce feelings of confusion and uncertainty, empowering you to take control of your mental health journey.
By understanding the various aspects of bipolar disorder and the available resources, you can advocate for your needs and preferences within the healthcare system. This empowerment can enhance your sense of agency and self-efficacy, fostering resilience and confidence as you navigate life with bipolar disorder.
A comprehensive roadmap may encompass not only medical interventions but also holistic approaches to wellness. This could include strategies for managing stress, improving sleep, fostering healthy relationships, and pursuing meaningful activities.
Learning about Bipolar & Where to Start Rebuilding
In this Module we're going to talk about what Bipolar actually is, we're diving into mania, depression and the first steps to rebuilding your life - we are just at survival right now! (you should have a journal/notebook to write down feelings of mania/depression so you will begin to see your own onsets and become familiar with that. This will help you find solutions that much faster)
Understanding Bipolar Disorder
Building a Support Network
Seeking Professional Help
Developing Coping Strategies
Starting with these points can provide a solid foundation for learning about bipolar disorder and beginning the process of rebuilding your life after diagnosis.
Remember that recovery is a journey, and it's okay to seek support and make adjustments along the way as you navigate the challenges and successes of living with bipolar disorder.
Fight to get your life back
You have to come in to every single day pre-meditated. You're going to fight like Mike Tyson about to bite someone's ear off in the ring for yourself until this becomes second nature. Your number one job is getting stable and understanding your own solutions and road map.
(You should have a journal or notebook to write down things that pop up during this. This is my Journey, yours is going to be similar but different. The more you write, the better as this will become the tools you'll use later. Here we need to know what calms you down, what excites you and makes you laugh, who can you go help when you're feeling down?)

Once you know where you want worth and confidence back in your life is when we can reverse engineer how to get it and where to go.
Finding Joy - Confidence - Self Worth - Understanding the True Bipolar Life Cycle
Now we're diving in to more advanced help. Now that you have the basics, routine, a plan, solutions, knowing how what to do when you feel mania/depression come on - now what? We're going to learn what brings you joy, what brings you confidence, independence and ultimately self worth and esteem.
When you have those in place, or know what you want and who you want to be, is when we reverse engineer that plan. This will also be going over the Bipolar life cycle and you'll understand where you are. If you ever have to go back to stage 1 - you'll know your own plan to get out of it quickly and efficiently. (you should have a journal on the side to write down where you find joy, what makes you feel confident and independent so you can use those tools)
